Botulinum Toxin A
Botulinum toxin type A is a purified form of botulinum toxin type A used to block acetylcholine release in the treatment of chronic sialorrhea, muscle spasticity, and dystonia, as well as in cosmetic applications.
Cosmetic uses for botulinum toxin include treating the vertical lines between the eyebrows, and on the bridge of the nose, squint lines or crows feet at the corners of the eyes, forehead horizontal lines, periorbital lines and nasolabial folds around the mouth, and the thick platysmal bands around the neck.
